Dion Palmer was a founding member of The D4, who released two albums on legendary NZ label Flying Nun Records, and then played in A Place To Bury Strangers from 2010-2020.  When COVID hit, he quit the band and started focusing on his own music and started a new band, Dion Lunadon.
